How we met
Well this is what you call when Swiping Right went Right. Not knowing what would be next, we met on Hinge.. yes the dating website. Most of you wanted to know what the next chapter was and here it is… marriage. After long conversations, while I was actually in NYC for two weeks, we were able to connect on a mental level prior to seeing one another physically. When I got back to Houston, we met up at Cyclone a Mexican spot just for a meet and greet and it turned into a whole date and vibe. After that day, let’s just say the rest was history.

The Proposal
We went to LA for his graduation present from me to him and that Saturday turned into a fairytale. He had a saxophone playing “our song” as we exited off of the elevator, that’s when I knew this had to be the day. I looked ahead and I read the sign Will you marry me, I looked to the right and saw my parents and before I knew it he was actually down on one knee. It was a total surprise and the best day of my life.

After our initial meet up, we had an actual date. He took me on a weekend date. The first night was a high end restaurant, then salsa dance class, following bar hopping/dancing. That Sunday, we went to a comedy show since I love comedy and he loved that comedian. I knew he was the one after that weekend.
